My first round of healing was starting raw milk kefir last May. I saw significant help from that but not consistent or enough.
I started SCD fanatical Sept of last year after playing around with principles for a while. From the first week it was obvious it was the diet for me. No more gas/bloating. I could sleep thru the night. Anxiety calmed. More energy. It just got better and better.
My skin never breaks out now. I don't have hay fever anymore. No more bladder pain. I never ever get gas (meaning now I can digest my food), so no more IBS.
So several autoimmune conditions that mainstream medicine has nothing for ... GONE!
What else I used:
Coconut oil to cook food but didn't really pay attention to a daily amount or anything.
Cod liver oil. Bone broths. Raw milk yogurt (not really SCD b/c I didn't pasteurize it).
Fermented veggies later in diet when tolerated.
Soaked nuts later in diet, I couldn't digest whole nuts without soaking them.
Enzymes (especially when I could work up to using high proteases in between meals, I saw a jump in progress.)
