My dd is 9 mo, almost 10 and has had a cough for about a week. It is really not that bad, but what makes me nervous is that her chest gets really tight before she coughs and I am afraid of Athsma. My dh and his whole family have severe athsma and so there is a good chance that dd might have it. I want to start some supporting herbs to build her respitory system and bought the Eldertussin syrup today by Herbs for Kids. The label says for babies over a year or 24 lbs. dd weighs about 20. The ingredients are- elderberry, echinachea, chamomile, horehound, and wild cherry bark. Has anyone used this for a babe under a year or have any advice for me about giving it to her? Thanks!
