Does anyone know about a low-grade fever that won't go away? I have had a temp of 100-102 for 3 weeks now. It is usually 101. No other symptoms, besides fatigue. A week before it started I was in the hospital for Norwlk virus.

I was tested for kidney infection, strep and some other common infections. All were negative.

Any ideas?

Gosh, that's an awful long time for a fever. Could be lots of things...mono, other viruses, or something more serious. I don't know much about the Norwalk virus. Does it have a lingering fever as a symptom?

You need to see someone about this, asap.

Just a little too add.... it is said and observed that a viral fever lasts only approx. 72 hrs... anything longer may mean a bacterial infect. Did you have a bloodculture drawn?
