Is it safe to use colloidal silver for thrush while breastfeeding? I'm the one with oral thrush - I'm embarassed to say I've had it since DS was born - I came home from the hospital with it. Nystatin didn't help. Neither did a pill they gave me - Diflucan, maybe? At any rate, I do have some colloidal silver I could try as a sort of mouth wash, to swish and spit out. If this is safe, can anyone tell me how much, how many times a day, for how long?

Thanks so much!

I know you posted this back in 2006 but I was curious to know what you found out about colloidal silver and breastfeeding.
