I hope I'm posting this on the correct forum.

From my two births, my perineum had torn a total of about 1.5 inches. The first time, the stitches tore out and nothing could be done after the fact. The second time (at home), I just didn't have any stitches.

I know there is a surgery that can be done to repair the perineum, but I'm not wanting to do that right now with a baby and 4 yo.

I feel deformed and sex doesn't sound appealing to me because of it (even with Josh Hartnett! LOL)

Anyone else have this sort of grieving?

me too I am lucky to not have had any tearing or episiotomy at all with my daughter's birth but I think alot of us have a hard time with the changes our bodies undergo throughout pregnancy and after the birth of our babies.
