I am taking a calcium/magnesium/zinc supplement because I am currently avoiding all dairy while I breastfeed my son, who has allergic colitis and silent reflux. I am getting ready to start him on probiotics, plus will be taking them myself, along with digestive enzymes (I'm wondering if part of the problem is that I'm not digesting things fully enough and bigger pieces of protein get into my milk and irritate him? Someone else told me enzymes really helped in a similar situation, so I'm willing to try it!).
Anyway, I'm assuming it's probably not good to take all this stuff at the same time. The enzymes are actually in a "juice" with some other stuff like aloe and flax, and I'll probably mix it with juice at meals. Would it be best to wait and take the probiotics at night before bed? Or with a snack (when I'm not taking the enzymes)? What about the calcium? Does it really matter when I take that?
Thanks!
