Hi there,

Just wondering how much flax oil my dd should get daily. I have heard this is a great supplement to start giving to children after age one. Have you all heard the same? Also, how do you give it to your children. thanks!

I give my son (15 months) 1 teaspoon per day.....sometimes 2 but he has really bad eczema. I give it to him on a spoon. Most people suggested putting it on his veggies & potatos and stuff, but I found so much got wasted and he was willing to eat it off the spoon.

For one year-old's, one teaspoon a day is sufficient. Yes, you can let them drink it right off the spoon if they will- I even heard they have favored flax oil!
I add them to dd's almond milk that I make fresh every morning.
Just remember they do not withstand heat, so if you add them to food, do it after food is cooked.
