This has been happening for a while. I figured it was a calcium deficiency, started taking calcium citrate, and it went away for a week or so. But now it's back, though not quite as severe. Is it something else, or do I jhust need to take more calcium than I am?
Are you taking any magnesium? It's good to balance them, 50% as much mag as ca, but many folks have more ca in their diets than mag overall, so you may need to play with the amount.

Yep, I do take mag. I figure I probably have lots of dietary ca, but maybe I do need more
Some theories about that that you have too little sleep and too much caffein. In my case - I get it at random times of my life (usually when stress level is a little up). It usually goes away after few days, may be a week. It can start again shortly or I might have twich-free period as long as a year or even more. It does not bother me much. If you have a severe one - you can get botox injection into eye lid. It will stop it. However, unless you are really at the end of the rope here, I would advise against it.
Stress, mama! I get them every once in awhile and eventually found the cure! Unfortunately the cure was to go on a cruise - very effective but not quite practical.
That happens to me when I have been working on the computer or reading for too long, and when my body feels particularly fatigued. Sometimes I get lip twitches too!
