Okay, I will freely admit to lurking on this board for quite a while. I'm glad to see that it's back up!

I have a question for you ladies. I've had bumps all over my torso for two days now, along with a low grade fever, headache, muscle aches, and a vague sore throat. I went to go see the company's nurse today and she of course suggested (demanded) that I go to Prompt Care immediately. Fun! She thinks I have chicken pox, even though I had them as a child. Anyone have experience with this kind of thing? Any alternate suggestions? My partner called her mother, who promptly cried anthrax. :

I know that I'm going to go over there and they're going to try to pump me full of drugs. If it is chicken pox, do you think just some calendula for the pox themselves would help? I haven't taken any pain relievers, and have found that the pain isn't unmanageable, but the itching has already begun to start. Lucky I bought two ten pound boxes of baking soda the other day, huh?

Carmen,

Yes it was the chicken pox! A week off work wasn't bad though...
