Hello y'all,

I've got a little mystery that I can't seem to solve with online research. I'm going to buy a tens unit for some pain relief, and they are priced from $45 to $300 and maybe more. So with such a high price variance, I would like to know what features make one unit more or less expensive than another unit. To me, it seems that the major difference is that some have a digital display and some don't. They seem to all have the same basic functionality - with three "modes" of standard, modulate, and burst.

I'm hoping that some of the experts on this list can help me solve this, so that I can pick out a good one that has a good price/feature/value thing going on.

Are there any features that I should be sure to get?

Thanks very much for any insight!!

I don't know anything about the features, but maybe you could rent one? Physical therapists will sometimes loan them out if your insurance covers it.
I used one after a shoulder injury and it helped quite a bit.
