Hello - has anyone heard of getting Fifth Disease more than once? I understand that the first time is supposed to build up immunity and make it impossible to get again, but . . . My ds has what seems like it, and we had thought he had it a couple of years ago too. We thought at first this time was maybe a sun rash or sunscreen allergy (which he has had before), but that doesn't seem to fit so well. I did some research on the web, but I would guess it is fairly uncommon for anyone to get it twice, if it ever happens; anyway I couldn't find out anything in the time I had. Of course we're not positive that's what he had before and we don't plan to get him tested this time or anything. Other than the rash, he doesn't seem sick at all. Just trying to figure out what it is! And then there's the whole sunscreen/allergy thing to figure out after it clears up!

Thanks for listening!
