I have a 12 week old who has had an itchy rash on his forehead for the last 2 weeks. Pedi told me that it is seborrhea and to apply 1% hydrocortisone.
This doesn't seem to be helping whatsoever, and I don't think I should continue to apply the hydro.
Can I use tea tree oil? Do I mix it with a lotion...or...?
I'm sure it could be diet-related as well. My other son did have undiagnosed food allergies as an infant (severe eczema). Diagnosed with peanut allergy as a preschooler. He has since outgrown his peanut allergy, and now that we have peanuts in the house, well, I've helped myself to some peanut M&M's. I just can't help myself! Anyway, yah, I need to stop.
At any rate, I'd like some help with what I could apply to this rash to alleviate his discomfort while I stop with the peanuts.
