I think this is the most appropriate place to ask...

Okay so your period is here (woohoo!...not)...So you get your mooncup out ready to go... 5 days down the line you think you are finished...but you are not...it is just a 'period pause' (my own made up name for it lol) because 2 days after that it comes back for another two to three days. Then you are done - one month down...who knows how many to go! lol

So what is that? Is that normal? Is there a reason behind this 'pause'??? Anyone else get this?!

Cheers! lol

Subbing. I've done this before and wondered why.

I pray for the day Family Court recognizes that CHILDREN have rights, parents only have PRIVILEGES.  Only then, will I know my child is safe.

My cousin did this. She called it her stop 'n go day. My other cousin, her sister, also does it.

I've been having little streaks.... one about the 20th and one today. I'm wondering if I'm just too busy at the moment to actually have a period.

This year I've been late a lot (and very busy) and normally my period is always 28 days apart.

Well im glad to see that other people experience this too at least! hehe

The length of my period at the moment is also and issue. I am going to keep track of how long my cycle is exactly as well as I swear I am having a 50 day cycle...I also swear that the last two months I ovulated TWICE (which is rare but can happen from my research) ...and thats just odd imo! lol

I have it. I can go from a day to 5 days with the pause. I brought it up to my ob/gyn last week but it did not seem to be overly concerning- just what my body does. At least we did not dwell on it and it was mentioned in passing.
