Mybe I just don't know what to look for but, I can't seem to find a lactose free homeopathic remedy. I want to take calcarea sulphurica for my cystic acne which I get when I have ANY kind of dairy. Buying a lactose based remedy would be silly in my mind but, I could be wrong.

Any mamas know more about this and willing to help?
TIA!

Oh I wish I could help you. I'm subbing to this because I need the same info for my dairy allergic dd. I have heard both sides, that there are such trace amounts of lactose that it wouldn't matter, and also that it DOES matter. So, :

The pellets are generally in a sucrose base. Tablets, (think hylands...round disks) are lactose. Boiron has a sucrose base with just a touch of lactose. If you order online there are many companies that have strictly sucrose bases, or alternatively you can get a liquid.

If you are using it for a chronic issue are you getting a higher potency? In that case you have to order from a homeopathic pharmacy anyway.

Honestly, if you are going low potency I'd just get Boiron. The condition you are talking about is more an issue of the protein, not the sugar and hte amount in Boiron's remedies is SO small.

oh: www.homeopathyworks.com

There are many reputable sources, but this one is the pharmacy the National Center of Homeopathy recommends. You can get aqueous based remedies here.
