Give the child plenty of water to drink (to encourage urination to help flush area) as well as wash the child's penis well with warm water 2 to 3 times a day. Make sure there is no burning sensation, this can be a urinary tract infection. Let the child soak in an herbal bath with calendula, lavender and rosemary. Get some echinacea tincture, you may dilute 1t in about 1/4 cup of the warm water to wash the penis, I would also give the tincture (see dosing chart, probably around 5-10 drops 2-3 times daily) internally along with vitamin c around 125 mg twice daily. Hope this helps!

It is probably smegma, which can look an awful lot like pus, but is a completely natural thing. See this thread in the CAC for normal seperation issues: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=764732

It could possibly be yeast, but I wouldn't assume that unless he had been on antibiotics or someone close (mom, etc) has been having yeast problems. I wouldn't think UTI from "discharge" simply because UTIs usually don't present that way.
