I posted a few days back thinking maybe Bartholin's gland cyst or varicosity, but now (after way too much time with Dr Google, and not enough sleep) I think it is a sebaceous cyst. It is white, the size of a pea, and protruding. No pain or other bothers. This is the TMI part...It is on my labia, and there are a couple of other tiny bumps right next to it (been there since I got prego with my son now 16 mos old) that my gyno said were nothing soon after I first noticed them.

I know, I know...go back to the gyno. Well, I will, but my appointment is 3 weeks out and the curiosity is driving me nuts. (obviously, b/c it is the middle of the night, my family is sleeping soundly, and I am sitting here in front of the computer!!!)

Nope but I get them on my head all the time. Although I must say I can't see that they are white because they are under the skin. After I get them removed though you can see they are white. I get mine removed because they get really painful after awhile. Don't know what I would do though if it were on my labia!

Rachel, mom to Jake (5/04) and Alexia (7/07) a surprise UC thanks to hypnobabies!

Ok, I love "lady garden". That just made me smile!

I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you thought I do get ingrown hairs that turn into cycst but, they are very painful, pimple like. I've never had one that didn't hurt.

I had 2 in my "garden" he he. My gyno actually popped them and they were finr. Its just a pimple down there. Treat it like one. Pop it and it will go away fast. Warm compresses and a good salve will clear it up.

Nothing useful to add here, just popping in to mention that several of my Australian friends refer to it as a "lady garden." I love that term!

"Lady Garden" ? : Thanks...it made my day.

To answer your question, yes, I've had those in my lady garden and they've gone away on their own. Warm compresses do help. If you really want it gone then have a professional lance it. I wouldn't do it at home though.

Normal is just a setting on your dryer.

My ex gf had one. She went and had it removed, she was really scared even after the doctor said it was no biggie. The removal was worse for her than the cyst but she had absolutely no pain or irritation from it.
