Ok, I have the opportunity to expose my 5 and 7 year old with chicken pox. Unfortunately its an hour away (hello gas people!!) and its the beginning of the school year. Im so on the fence, on the one hand I have been looking forever and really this is the closest it has ever been!!!!

On the other hand, my dd starts Kindergarten on tuesday and Im concerned that her potentially being out of school for two weeks after only 2-3 weeks of school is going to damage her process of making friends and settling....

FWIW it IS really important to me that they get them, but I would feel so much better if it was at least November or later so that she would be all settled into school. .. My dd is a bit on the shyer side and its important to me that she establish friendships in the beginning.. Im worried that if she is gone for a few weeks in the beginning of the year, the kids will kind of make other friends and she will have to start all over again....

IF you would expose, or have exposed your kids, WWYD?

ETA:: I have to leave in an hour if Im going to do this!!

Hi! I found you! Did you end up going last week? Well, I talked to Brenda yesterday and she said someone (of course, now I can't remember) just got chicken pox over the weekend. Maybe someone in Jack & Autumn's school? Did she already tell you this? And, is Sam too young to be exposed? I'd like to get it out of the way...

Love,
Your Sis-In-Law
