I sort of wish I was craving something fun.

When I'm pregnant, I only want healthy food. Sugar sounds really bad, as does anything fried, salty, or made with preservatives. Grilled food sounds terrible, as does everything made with a lot of butter. It's not much fun.

My favorite foods are plain yogurt, turkey and slices of cheese, berries or grapes, and oatmeal. Plain almonds, dried apricots, quinoa, apples. That's about it.

The only things I do crave are sushi and beer, the foods I can't eat.

Hey, you can eat some sushi! Anything cooked is okay, if freshly made (so no listeria risk). Unagi, shrimp...and then vegetable rolls!

Of course, I will eat raw fish even when pregnant, as long as it isn't a mercury risk. But even the more cautious can find something that falls within pregnancy guidelines!

I just ate:

-entire bag of baked Smoky Bacon and Cheddar Potato Chips

Am sick. Also disappointed in self (because have been so good). Also, a little surprised.

Dolmas - stuffed grape leaves.... I just bought a can at the grocery store and have eaten almost half already!

And now I'm making au grating potatoes. The bad for you boxed kind. :

I WANT DOLMADES!! but the ones at the supermarket are not that great. I was a full Greek meal. I have a whole menu of cravings. DH best friend is Greek Im trying to talk him into having his Greek mom to make me some food but he forgets to bring it up to her. Guess I might have to go over his head and get recipes from her myself.
