My husband and I lost our first baby at 26 weeks back in November of 06, and lost our second at 4 weeks in February of 08. I really want to have kids, as well as my husband. I have been taking my temp each morning, but don't seem to be having any luck with it. Can you actually boost your firtility without taking anything? I was on clomid for a bit...but after we lost the one, I didn't get pregnant the rest of the time I was on it. Does anyone have any advise, or do I just play the waiting game and hope for the best?
A lot of the women here know way more about herbs and supplements than I do, but my MIL, who struggled with infertility & ectopic pregnancy for 10 years, said what finally made a difference for her was a relaxation/meditation routine. They had tried everything medical, and were on their last round of IVF when she decided to try meditation (She mentioned jon kabat-zinn's "Full Catastrophe Living" as the book that described the techniques she tried). Her twins (my husband's half-brothers) just turned 16!
JayJay has started a thread here called I love herbs where she mentions her fertility tea! Maybe have a look there. I don't have fertility issues but my DD was stillborn in October and my cycles have been out of sync since. An aquaintance (who is actually a reflexologist but knows a lot about dosing in relation to fertility) has suggested either a tea made of red clover and raspberry leaf (a gentle solution) or tincture of agnus castus (a slightly more "robust" method of regulating and promoting fertility.) I think Vitex is Agnus Castus (AKA Chaste berry) and I know several ladies on here take that.
Can't say if it works as I'm just about to try it all.
I took Fertilaid and drank Fertilitea because I am too lazy to put everything together separately.
