~*Heavy Baby*~This is a beautiful handmade doll crafted in the waldorf tradition. This is a heavy baby, made from all natural materials and stuffed with millet so that it feels like a 'real baby'.

from joyswaldorfdolls.com Used therapeutically in Germany, a weighted doll has a settling and reassuring quality. Heavy Baby is a weighted, rounded bottom (no legs), bunting style baby which makes it ideal for the young child. Filled with millet, and made with all natural fibers, it will bring a subtle quality of weight and warmth to the child who plays with it. Heavy Baby is just right for the youngster who needs to "Lug", or for the child who needs extra sensory attention and just a lovely doll to simply hold and pats it's bottom. This is truly an archetypal "Waldorf Doll" worthy of any child or adult.
Because of the weight (approx. 2 1/2 lbs) this doll is best for children 3+ years. The bunting outfit and hat are sewn of lavender velour. This doll is new, it has never been played with and comes complete with a darling moses basket and flannel patchwork/satin blankie. There is no mattress for the basket.

~*Teething Doll*~
This is a great first doll for the 6month old baby and older. The 'hands' and hat can be dampened with water and cooled in the freezer for soothing teething gums. I have this in pink stars or pink & white stripes
$15ppd
