Three days before my maternity photo session, too. I was really feeling smug about the way my belly skin was still looking nice. It's funny though, the rash started on my back at around 8 this morning and started spreading around to the front. Most of the literature says it starts in the stretch marks on the belly and spreads. I have no stretch marks or anything either. But there's nothing else it could be. le sigh.

I looked up PUPPS the other day because I've had a lot of random skin rashy itchiness throughout this pregnancy, and there seems to be a lot of potential skin/rash issues that have similar sounding "diagnoses" it was just confusing to me and I'm just chalking it up to weird pregnancy skin and not worrying about it. Mine comes and goes and isn't too bad though. Sorry you are dealing with that!

well maybe that's it- but it is a very angry hive rash that really doesn't look like it can just go away...It could be a reaction to some BenGay that I put on my back almost a week ago, but my hands didn't react. do allergic reactions crop up after several days? it could also be these:
pemphigoid gestationis
prurigo during pregnancy

EITHER WAY! I've started taking dandelion root and milk thistle, and got some pine tar soap and calendula cream and oatmeal bath packets. pretty much everything that has been recommended on this website. if it works or not I will update because I can't be the only one...

Hmm...I have a little group of pink spots that showed up this morning on one side of my belly. Wonder what it is--could it be the same thing? It looks like a rash, but it could also be the begining of a strech mark I guess...
