Ladies, thank you MUCH for the encouragement. Went to the hospital - monitored contractions. OB said ctx weren't worrying him. Had an ultrasound...cervix is still thick and only dilated to a 1. We're definitely having a boy. OB reassured me that he didn't think the ctx were going to develop into labor...but that I've just been doing way too much. Told me to take it easy and keep my feet up for a few days. Not sure I agree...but for once I'm going to be a good patient.

Thanks a MILLION for all the encouragement ladies!

I'm incredibly frustrated right now. Tuesday I spent much of the day getting Terbutaline shots to make contractions stop. Today, on self-prescribed bed rest having TONS of contractions...and probably going to have to head to the hospital again. :

UGH!!!!! I know how you feel. I spent 5 days in the hospital 2 weeks ago for this exact thing. I'm so sorry you are having to go through all of this. I know this is hard for you, but maybe a little trip to the hospital will help keep those contractions away FOR GOOD. Drink TONS of water and lay on your left side (this is what they told me at the hospital) I hope things start to go away soon and your baby stays in and cooks for a while longer! I'll be thinking about you!

I'm sorry you are going through this.
Today and yesterday I'm getting/got the steroids for my baby girl's lungs. It is making me feel safer. I'm not sure if this is an option you want to consider.
I'm sending stay-in baby vibes.
