starting an Announcements thread now that we have our first March baby? I did one with my last DDC and wouldn't mind keeping up with it here if no one objects

Perhaps it's not my place to ask, but is there a way to keep the string concise by asking people not to post their congratulations on the birth announcements? My theory is most will post a birth story or separate announcement as well, where people can give their congrats. Then we have the birth announcement string with just everyone's baby information and we don't have to wade through 5 pages of congrats between birth announcements.

I don't know if that sounds mean. Sorry. I'm just making a suggestion.

I'll just keep updating the original post so they will all flow by the date of birth. Kind of like how I kept updating the Spotlight schedule so it will all be the first thing you see. Does that make sense? I'll go ahead and set it up and ask for it to be stickied.

Not mean at all. I think we'd all agree.
