Today I am having a nuchal translucency (no debate over screening tests, please -- we've put a lot of thought into this!). Any good thoughts or vibes would be most welcome! I am 12 weeks and 3 days. Our last babe passed around this time and I found out at my 14-week app't, so I am pretty anxious to see a healthy baby in there!

Good luck! (I decided against the NT scan though I'm definately higher than average risk. However, I had weekly ultrasounds from 5-10.5 weeks due to being high risk. I was tired of ultrasounds and wanted to be able to pretend to be normal risk for second trimester if possible!)

Thanks everyone! It was amazing! Our baby looks great and I heard the heartbeat for the first time. I actually started sobbing and I think the technician was a little surprised! I told her that I'd lost our last baby around this time and was just so overjoyed to see and hear a healthy baby!::

I still have to wait for the bloodwork but I really just wanted to see a healthy heartbeat and a baby that was moving and thriving.

The nuchal fold was 1.5, which apparently was good, as anything under 3 is considered "normal." I went out afterward to eat lunch and buy some new maternity clothes. Such a great day!
