Or have I crossed over into conspiracy theorist?

Here are some articles about the relationship between prevnar vaccine and MRSA:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1482988/

Whether the current increase in severe community-acquired S. aureus infections, including methicillin-resistant S. aureus (6), is partially caused by the recent introduction of the pneumococcal conjugate vaccine is yet to be determined.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?db=pubmed&uid=15183627&cmd=showdetailview&indexed=google

A trial with a 7-valent pneumococcal-conjugate vaccine in children with recurrent acute otitis media showed a shift in pneumococcal colonisation towards non-vaccine serotypes and an increase in Staphylococcus aureus-related acute otitis media after vaccination.

(sorry that one is just the abstract)

Then, there's this:

 http://se.sanofi-aventis.com/live/se/sv/layout.jsp?cnt=89CDF5FB-2EAF-4A56-8D24-44301193431F

And this...

http://www.vaczine-analytics.com/products-marketviewVAMV002.asp

On this website, there was an article discussing the staph vaccine, and it states that they will only produce it if it's on the CDC schedule...the article is no longer there (or i can't find it), but I will scan it in when I get home.

Now, I'm seeing articles like this:

http://health.yahoo.net/experts/dayinhealth/antibiotic-superbugs-crkp-mrsa-risk

Is the above article some sort of "fear mongering" or PSA to get people interested in MRSA (which I know is a real problem, but it's the recent media attention), and will that be followed by a "but don't worry...we have a VACCINE for it!" Even though it appears that the overuse of antibiotics and certain vaccines are the root cause for this issue. What do you think?

Lol, I don't know how to answer your question, because I'm a conspiracy theorist myself! Anyway, thanks for the links; I'm going to look them over later today.  I like to come to my own conclusion, despite what the government says. (although, on occasion, the government is right lol)

No you're not crazy, the system IS. There is no conspiracy though. All of the information is right there for the taking, if one chooses to look slightly below the surface of the mainstream spin. Nature is much smarter than our vaccine schedule.

I'm right there with you. Regarding MRSA and CRKP, whenever I see headlines such as these or the latest health alerts or health issues, the first thing comes to mind is the announcement of an upcoming vaccine.  I don't doubt we will see a new vaccine and even more fear-mongering regarding this issue.  It's becoming more and more predictable.

I was looking for something else, but actually stumbled on this article where they are already calling for development of a new vaccine to lessen the need for antibiotics. Conspiracy theory? Not at all. You're right on the money.

Straight from the article:

U.S. Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Margaret Hamburg called for development of new vaccines that can reduce the need for additional antibiotics.
