I'm considering enrolling my son in Kindergarten for this year.  On my schools enrollment form it asks for reasons to my religious exemption.  (in all honesty with my family history he SHOULD qualify for medical exemption but his doc is of the 'vax's never cause anyone any harm' train of thought and wouldn't sign).

What should I put there?  We are in Pa if that matters.

i would look into the laws pertaining to that kind of info needed by the school..you'll have to look up statues and such,  but seems like its against the Constitution for a public school to ask a person their religious views. You dont have to explain your religious beliefs to anyone. Its none of the schools business. Or to avoid a hassle,  just tell them you are Christian, (or whatever) and you don't believe in the practice and goes against your God given right to choose for your family.  Or tell them you think the body was made perfect and its against your beliefs to defile your or your children's bodies.

Please be careful here.  Different states require very different wordings for the statement to be received.  vaclib has a nice website where it states what is needed per state.  Here's PAs:

Do some research, maybe in your tribe area and ask what others have written.  Please make sure you know exactly what is needed to qualify for a vaccine exemption based on your religious beliefs.

If you actually have a religious basis for your exemption, just state it in plain language.  There should be samples available for your state.

If one doesn't have an actual religious basis, one shouldn't use a religious exemption.  If your need for an exemption is medical, lying about having a religious exemption wouldn't solve the underlying problem anyway.  But I'm assuming you basically have both grounds for a medical exemption (despite your current doctor's attitude) and a religious one as well.  Good luck.
