Hi there! My name is Michele and I'm writing on article on "chicken pox parties" for Gauge Magazine, a small publication based in Boston. As I'm doing research I'm finding most the information to be second-hand and/or biased. Is there anyone out there who's intentionally exposed their children to either chicken pox, measles, or the flu in order to boost their immunity? Have any of you hosted a party like this? If you have, then please get in touch with me! Your perspective would be a really valuable contribution to this article as I feel the voice of the parent is often underrepresented when it comes to this discussion. You can either respond to this thread or email me at [email protected] Thanks!
