Dr Uzi Beller, an Israeli obstetrician and gynecologist spoke out in an article in the Jerusalem Post criticizing the use of the Gardasil vaccination and urged US pediatricans and OBGYNs to consider the evidence. He is not a anti-vaccine nut, as he states in the article he is pro-vaccine and happily took the polio vaccine recently.
That's the point. There could well be something so seriously wrong with the HPV vaccine that even pro-vax doctors are waving the red flag.
Good question. There was no comment section on that site. It seems that the CDC is simply ignoring this doctor, and any others who criticize vaccines (except for Wakefield, whom they are going after like he's Typhoid Mary).
On the other hand, most of the doctors who either speak out against vaccines (like Dr. Beller) who question safety (like Lucja Tomljenovic) or who question efficacy (like Dr. Jefferson of the Cochrane Collaborative) are not on US or British soil, and who are therefore somewhat more immune to the kind of blacklisting and witch-hunting that goes on in the US/UK against such doctors.
Still waiting on long-term issues to arise with this fairly new vaccine. Especially since it was not tested on how it could affect female fertility.
