My dd is 14 mo and no longer vaxed (since 6 mo). Her friend is getting her chickenpox vaccine tomorrow and then coming over to play. I know that oral polio and measles are live vaccines and she can't be around anyone who has gotten them for 2 wks due to shedding, but what about pox vaccines? She is underweight and bearly eats so I tend to be extra cautious.

Yes the child will be contagious, and it's not even real chicken pox, it's a closely related almost chicken pox virus :P I wouldn't worry about your child's weight if she's happy and healthy, 14mos is still pretty young to be eating well, is she nursing? If you're worried though I'd cancel the play date.

The chickenpox vaccine is known to "shed"--adults and children can get the virus from someone who has just had the vaccine...

I would not have the newly vaccinated child over for at least 2 weeks. Not vaccinated with CP. Unless you want your child to have cp, but she is still too young IMO.
