Dr. looked at our 6 mo old this am and said there is peri-pertussis going around. I can't find any info about it. Anyone know what it is and what, if any, relation to Pertussis there is?

I think they mean para-pertussis.

It can either be an "excuse" excusing pertussis in vaccinated children or they can mean a bacteria that ressembles both pertussis and bronchoseptica, but isn't either....

they "say" that para-pertussis is less severe than pertussis...
