Hey, didyaknow there is an 'Evidence of Harm' movie in the works and it's being produced by the people who made Syriana, Good Night, and Good Luck, North Country, Murderball and the upcoming Fast Food Nation and An Inconvenient Truth. This is gonna be good!

At least we were all anti-vax before it became the latest trend.

Could go two ways. DH is "con" as he said that every critic who ever reviewed Syriana called it a flop. Myself "pro" thinks anything that brings to light the massive amount of information generally unknown about the dangers of vaccines, the corruption at the CDC/FDA, and the far reaching tentacles of big pharma is at least bringing the idea out to people who may never have know otherwise. I think it is excellent news, the media can change the whole vaccination climate in a movie and a talk show or two. Can you imagine telling your great grandkids how you were a pioneer and actually had to jump through hurdles to get exemptions for their grandparents to not be vacc'ed.

Though, I can't just see the vacc companies letting a movie go through without some kind of backlash, campaign against it... :

It hasn't even been filmed yet, so it will be quite some time.

Well...my family went anti-vax back in the teens or twenties of the last century...but I was just born into the situation and can't claim any credit.

One of my childhood memories is being excluded from school because we were living in New Jersey (1958?) and they wouldn't let non-vaxed kids attend. While we were out of school I came down with measles, but there was no vax in those days, so it had nothing to do with being unvaxed. In the 1950's I think the only vax was the DPT or whatever it is called and then they eventually added the polio vax. None of the five of us ever came down with Diptheria or Pertussis or Tetanus or Polio in spite of being unvaxed, but we all had measles and mumps and rubella and whatever and we all survived. Oh, and chickenpox. In those days it was a minor childhood illness.
