The good, the bad, and the ugly please.

My dad asked me to find out what I could about this because he got a note home from my 11 year old sisters school saying she needs this (and the HPV one and a tetanus booster). He won't be getting her the HPV one (I already swayed him on that one... woo-hoo!). She'll more than likely get the tetanus booster. I can't seem to get any info on reactions of the VAERS website on the meningitis. What am I doing wrong? Surely there is SOME reactions to it? There is no option in the part where you chose the vaccine for either MPSV4 or MCV4. Those are the meningitis vaccines, right?

Thanks!

Steph, DH Jason (1-1-11), DS Owen (10-3-03) and DS Kai (10-13-11)

This relates to college students, but you'll get the point (CDC link inside): http://www.mothering.com/discussions...73&postcount=5

GBS risk: http://www.cdc.gov/od/science/iso/gbsfactsheet.htm

VAERS reports for Menactra: http://www.medalerts.org/vaersdb/fin...O=1&PERPAGE=10

I'm also looking for a good thread on serotype replacement.
