Dan Olmsted and Rescue Post have joined forces and created a new blog.

One of the first posts is by Mark Blaxill and recounts his experience at a CDC meeting on how to separate the vax promotion and vax safety functions of the agency. Hasn't happened, of course.

I think we finally have access to the entire set of columns by Olmsted on autism, too.

Hi, I am Mary and I am new to this list. I have been training Autism Support Dogs for about two years now. I fully expected to get adult clients right off the bat, but as it is, I have gotten mostly young children. When I started getting into it and learning, I am now so scared of having my child vaccinated that I am getting ready to sign a religious waiver so I can buy myself time to find a physician who will work with her on a safe schedule.

There's nothing drastic about a religious exemption

There is no "safe" schedule. Research each vaccine and disease. When I did I found no vaccines worth the risk.

Hello dawgtrainer, Welcome to the Vaccine Forum.

When my first grandson was born my dd never questioned vaccines and just followed the schedule. But within a year his older cousin was diagnosed with autism and we realized that my grandson had a lot of the same traits that this cousin had when he was the same age.

We started researching vaccines and my grandson never got another shot. He was 15 mo. at the time. He is 10 yo now and has outgrown every symptom while his cousin is now 14 and fully autistic.

Anyway, my other two grandsons (different dd) never received one vaccine and never showed any symptoms of autism.

Take your time and research. There is a lot of info in the archives on top.

Nice to have you here.

Thanks so much. How did you guys get around the laws with not vaccinating? I mean seriously, they are telling me oh you must vaccinate...yaddy yaddy. Did you ever have any trouble with the children actually getting a disease that they could have been vaccinated for?

There ARE no laws that say you have to vaccinate

There are rules for schools, but in all states except West Virginia and Mississippi the exemptions are very easy.

Dd hasn't gotten anything yet that there's a vaccine for- but the diseases that are circulating I'm not afraid of. chickenpox? Please. I had it. I'm fine.
