Can anyone offer suggestions on safe levels of vitamin C for a 35-40 pound almost 4 year old and a 14 month old baby? My little ones have been exposed to chicken pox through a 4 year old at my son's small in-home daycare. My son has unfortunately had the varicella vax and my daughter has not had (and will not) the vaccine. In an effort to boost their immune system to handle the virus if they get it, I'm looking for suggestions on vitamin C dosing and any other type of supplement that might be helpful.

thanks much!

If you go over to the health and healing forum and do a search under vitC you should get the dosing amounts that hilary wrote up.I always just gave the kids a little every hour and backed off when we hit bowel tolerance(loose stool).
