Occasionally I get menstrual like cramps after urinating, especially if my bladder was full, and it seems to be getting more frequent. Last night and in the middle of the night I got some really bad cramping that got very uncomfortable after each bathroom trip. Is this a sign of a uti or anything else to worry about? Or is it just my irritable uterus complaining? lol

It's normal. It happens to me. I find the more often you empty your bladder, the less drastic the cramping.

I get my cramping before I go instead of after, but only in the evenings. I have no idea what causes it, but I'm hoping it's normal. I didn't get this with my last pregnancy though.

I get braxton hicks before and after if my bladder is full. Could it be a bh? I'd say, too, it's totally normal.

Sounds normal to me too. I get this sometimes. My OB said BH are common on a full bladder if it could be them. I know what you mean though and I imagine it has to do with our irritable uteruses!!

Thanks for putting me at ease! I had a scare last week that I thought was the beginning of pre-term labor (ctxs 3-5 mins apart for about 3 hours!) but luckily it subsided. Since then it seems like I'm getting a lot more of the painful kind of BH than before, so I'm just a little nervous. I guess it just goes with the territory of being almost full term!
