when, before your pregnancy you were used to take quite cold showers but now you get in your shower, you put your lower back under HOT water and, 10 minutes later, you realize you haven't moved...

...you tell your DH not to let you do anything else today b/c you've already overdone it and will be SO SORE tonight, and then find yourself thinking about cleaning the bathrooms, the microwave, and raking the yard.

Happy wife and also mommy to my two boys, 12-12-07 (c-sec) and 04-05-09 (vbac!) and another due in December.

When someone sees your belly move and gets all excited about it and you roll your eyes and say, "Yeah, yeah, it happens ALL the time..."

Remember when we were just dying to feel the first flutters!??

you find that you are now drooling in your sleep (yes, I am brave and will admit this.... in fact I just fessed up to DH about it over the weekend, and he laughed)

It is no longer your DH waking you up with his snoring... but YOUR own snoring waking you up!

You have the brilliant idea that after baby comes, you can take the shirt that you're wearing today and let your LO use it in the backyard as a tent.

your belly is pushing on the steering wheel and you've already adjusted it as high as it can go. The only thing to do now is move the seat back but then you won't be able to reach the pedals!

when you suddenly realize that there will come a time when grunting and groaning whenever you bend over or pick up something heavier than a teacup will no longer be socially acceptable.

: Except, I grunt when I bend over to pick up anything no matter how heavy it is I feel like . It's the bending my belly part that gets me!!

instead of bending over to pick things up you've mastered picking things up with your toes

Usually the greasy fast food at DQ doesn't appeal to me...but the blizzards...that's another story. I should not have read this post.

by DQ I definitely meant ice cream (I don't think I even knew they sold fast food?)... walking by on my way to a deli for lunch I saw all the gooey sundaes pictured in the window and thought to myself "well... I AM pregnant....that's a perfectly good excuse to have ice cream for lunch, right?" but thought a sandwich might be more responsible.

Sigh....

Also - you know you're 8 months pregnant when you find out that new carpet will not be installed in your bedrooms by this weekend, which makes you sob uncontrollably for at least an hour.

darn hormones....

I am also with you on the picking up things with my toes bit. I've done that my whole life but now it is a necessity!

oreo mint has been my blizzard of choice the last couple of times. I have some thin mint ice cream in the freezer, but it's not the same.

On the expiration date...my milk expires 4/13....I could have a 2 week old baby before my milk expires

I totally need to go check my milk now. I made some gelato that will have to suffice instead of the blizzard for now. If I had candy (HA like it survives in this house without me eating it all in a day!) I'd make my own.
