Just for fun because I can't be the only one getting up 4-5 times every night.

I'm getting up usually just once to pee, but a whole bunch of other times due to my dragon breath (heartburn)

THREE times usually! Even when I go right before bed and right when I wake. It is getting so hard to get out of bed...I roll and moan! Dh always askes if I"m okay. At least I slept last night, the acid reflux didn't act up...so you trade one complaint for another!: But it'll all be worth it

DH usually ends up asking me if I am ok when I get up too. I literally roll off the bed - its quite comical! I roll to my side and off to my feet!

If I'm going to be awake anyway, I'd take the peeing over the acid reflux. Last night I was actually being woken up because I was regurgitating (sp) when I burped (sorry tmi).

Oh yuck! I've had that happen too! I also would rather be peeing than have a burning throat!

Yup, at least four times here! Often more than that. And I grunt and roll and strain so much to get out of bed it's ridiculous!

None. I'm a freak here. But when I stand up first thing in the morning, I feel like my bladder is about to explode!

only four times...usually more like six...but I'm sleeping lightly enough these days it doesn't really bother me. Seriously, it's funny because I'm in and out all the way until usually 5 am and I think I'm totally going to be up at 6:30 when dh gets up, but invariably, I sleep the hardest between 5 and 8. Maybe that means baby will like sleeping in? I can live with that.

LOL, I think the only reason I only get up 4-5 times a night is because I go 2-3 times right before bed. I pee downstairs before heading up, then I change, turn off nightlight, brush teeth, pee again. I lay down with DD2 and if I lay there for 10-15 minutes without getting tired then I get up one more time to pee because I know if I don't then I'll just be falling asleep and will have to go again.

There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.

Ha... yeah, typically I get up and go about five times after I initially lie down, then another 1-2 times in the middle of the night.

Four times last night. That was a particularly bad evening because it's usually only two or three.

I'd guess 3-4 times, but then I couldn't sleep until 1am because of heartburn and I woke up twice because DS was having night terrors and crying.

I think 4 times. It's hard to keep count when you get up so much! lol I'm on the every 2 hour schedule usually with a 3 hour stretch as I get closer to waking up for good. Some bad nights though I'm up every hour, or if I have trouble going back to sleep I'm up every 20 minutes to pee until I finally fall asleep. I didn't do this with DS or have hip pain from laying on one side for too long at night. I didn't realize how lucky I was!!

I have an enormous bladder capacity, and I still get up at least twice - sometimes up to 4x - a night. You mamas who don't get up at all must have super-bladders!

Six times last night and I only slept from 2am till 8am (still having trouble with the time change!). So that's once per hour. Plus..with the separated pelvis thing, I have to roll on to my side then push myself up, then put both feet on the ground at the same time, then shuffle to the potty. Luckily we have a master bath...but still, last night was awful. I think I shuffled to the kitchen at some point too and had a mini muffin (poppy seed...YUM) and a glass of milk to help with the heartburn.

I'd much rather stay in bed and nurse a newborn then shuffle to and from the bathroom all night. I'll be glad when these days are over...just three weeks to go for me!!! : : :

ummmm, I'm a freak. I don't generally get up at night to pee. I think I did more during my first trimester.

If I do at all, it's usually around 6am, then I go back to sleep for another couple hours. But that's it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sometimes doesn't get up to pee! Honestly, I normally have an incredibly strong bladder, so I think pregnancy just makes me more like normal people. Sometimes if I'm up anyway (with insomnia, ugh) I'll pee once, but other nights I don't go at all until the morning...
I was starting to think I was a freak.

I never got up to pee in the middle of the night once when I wasn't pregnant. I bet I rarely peed more than 3-4 times daily.period. Those days are over. I still pee less (during the day) than my dh with the pea sized bladder . Don't tell him I said so .

About 3-4. It's the rolling over that usually does it to me. As soon as I shift onto my back on my way to either my right or left side, I feel like I have to pee. I, also, used to have a "bladder of steel" and was never one of those women who have to go all the time, well, I'm making up for it now

I pee once before I brush my teeth and put my jammies on, pee again when I get that done, then go to bed and usually have to get up to pee again before I fall asleep...but it's generally not more than a trickle that time...

Then if I am lucky I wake up once, but usually it's twice...I guess compared to some of you at 6 times or more...that's not as bad as I was thinking!!!!!

Ugh, Im jealous of you non-peeers! I only woke up 3 times last night. I actually think my problem is that weve been eating food that is a little saltier than normal, making me CHUG water all evening. Then when I wake up to pee, Im thirsty so im drinking more!!

I think the babe might be like me, punching her "pillow" (bladder) to make it comfortable!

Four times to pee last night. Dispite how annoying and difficult it is to roll off of my mountain of pillows, I can't really complain, because it must have just begun a couple of days ago. And I only have 6 nights left until my c-section.

2 - 3 times a night, usually, with a mild heartburn episode around 4-5am that requires me to sit here and read posts for a short time. Then milk, then back to sleep.

Peanut loves to push on my bladder, and it feels like I have to pee even though hardly anything is in there. It's rather annoying. But, then, what hasn't been?!

It's better during the day for some reason -- not sure why that would be since I'm actively drinking stuff. Gravity, I suppose, and sleeping partially on my side with some weight on my belly.

I also have a little trouble leveraging myself to the floor. I have to maneuver all my pillows out of the way (4) and strong arm myself into an upright position before being able to exit the bed.

Have I mentioned that I'm ready to end this silliness? :-P
