Not really any that I can say now but when I crave something (like a piece of cake or watermelon) I need it NOW!!!!

I grew up outside Sacramento (rural) and I now live in downtown Sacramento (very urban)

Do you have siblings
Yes! 1 little brother who is stationed in germany in the army. Dont worry, he busted his arm and is safe and secure, and cant be sent back for a 2nd tour of Iraq!!:::

Okay, my question:

Are you crafty? Do you plan to or have you already made something special for the baby? Or is there something you've purchased or hope to purchase for special for baby?

Im pretty much the opposite of crafty. Im a GREAT shopper though and I ordered a tiny orange minkee/tiedyed blanket for the baby. I just got it today and there were "awwws" all around.
I always tell my family and friends that the "special-ist" thing I can do for them is make them healthy food and I LOVE to cook so this dd gets to grow up with GOOD food!

I must be tired b/c the first time I read this I thought you said "dd gets to throw up good food" and I was like, wow! That's a new one. Kinda like DH telling me he's gonna buy dd 2 of everything she wants...one to play with and one just to break .

the blanket sounds cute

On my side of the family, I have my parents( who live near me) and my Oma (who lives across the country) and my bro (who is in germany). On DHs side there is a HUGE extended family, Im talking 40 people (counting the friends who are so close they are family)and they live about 45 min away. As of right now, dd1 and dd2 are the only grandkids and nieces for the immediate family and the only girls that have been born in 25 years for the extended family which equals MAJOR spoiling!!!

That is about the cutest thing ever...I love the space theme, too. Wasn't there someone who was doing a space theme in the nursery? That would be perfect. And I'm really loving the orange one. Is that the color you got? I've been on an orange kick for this baby, perhaps thinking that's she'll look good in orange like dh.
