So, I'm now experiencing this pain that in my hip or lower back, sort of the top of my left cheek. If I'm sitting still it's okay. I can walk, but bending in any way at that joint is terrible. I did a lot of gardening over the weekend but this just sort of randomly started yesterday evening, so I think it's the pg, not the work. Anyone else? Is it possibly sciatica? I always thought that was like sharp, shooting pains?

I have been getting these pains on my left side too like basically right above my left cheek! It's not constant and it usually happens if I move a certain way and then it hurts for awhile after I am pretty sure it's sciatica as well. Sometimes after I irritate it it hurts to move it at all until I rest it. Not sure if it's the same thing you have or not.

Yeah, it's only certain movements that hurt (bending over). I've been trying to sort of squat with all my weight on my right side, which is awkward looking to say the least. I just took a long, hot bath and that helped in the moment, but it doesn't last. Hopefully things will shift around as they grow and it won't be an issue. :

The other thing that is mistaken for sciatica is piriformis syndrome. If the pain shoots down the leg to the knee its piriformis and if it shoots to the ankle its sciatica.

The piriformis muscle sometimes compresses the nerve and it takes some working to loosen it.
