I`m desperately looking for a good midwife in Rio the Janeiro who supports a natural birth (without drugs or epidural if there is no need). She should be trained in homebirth and waterbirth and needs to speak English or German. I really appreciate any kind of information!! Does anyone have any experience and can recommend someone? Thanks!!
A couple are mentioned there. If you search the forums (or google "site:mothering.com rio de janeiro midwife") you may find more.

When are you due? I am a midwife willing to travel. I am actually planning a trip to S. America in the early spring.
