Anyone else?
I feel like I can't make it though the day. I am ready to fall over by 4. It's a wonder I can do anything at all. I am seriously so tired by bedtime that I am nauseous. I want a nap, but things keep coming up or the toddler doesn't sleep well.
Ugh. I am not getting anything done aside from the very basics.
I'm also getting really apathetic. Dishes piled up? Meh. Floor needs to be swept, Oh well. Flowers need water? I just hope it rains soon like the weather guy said it would. He promised, dang it!
I'm not going to count the number of hours my kids have spent on the computer. At least it's PBS kids, Jump Start games and Spore. Spore is educational, right? Right?

Heh. Yesterday I was on top of the world, today I am down in a pit. I took a nap midday and my sweetheart toddler actually laid next to me. I was shocked!! Didn't get to sleep but at least I rested. My DH and I have been going to bed earlier than usual together (he normally stays up really late and sleeps in really late) I think we're both gearing up for the newborn stage!

Hope you ladies get a restful sleep tonight!

Don't be offended if I'm too tired to noticed you're here!
April, that is so sweet.
I did mamage too get E to take a regular nap today, so got some sleep. It's amazing what a difference a little sleep makes!
It may sound crazy, but I'm actually looking forward to the rest I'll be able to get when baby comes. Right now, I'm not really giving myself permission to get the sleep I need. There is just so much to get done. But when I have a newborn, I'll have a regular rotation of people coming to help out. Plus, having just given birth, I know I will feel more "entitled" to rest. Does that make sense?

Makes total sense to me. I won't likely have any help though besides DH, but he seems to give me a little more slack with a newborn in the house too, so... I'm looking forward to that.

Hi Sarah:
Looks like you and I have the same due date. Though I am praying with my whole heart that I go into labor this week.
I so get what you are saying about being so tired and not feeling like doing much. I say catch a nap when you can.
The last two nights I have been able to sleep, but prior to that I've had horrible insomnia and I felt like I was dying during the day. I also homeschool my dc and have a 2.5 year old so let's just say we have been on a very modified schedule lately. My dd's have been awesome about helping out where they can, thank goodness! We've been eating far more fast food than we should, and cooking has been such a chore. I feel like a huge slacker of a Mom. I take 2 - 3 baths per day since that's the only thing that makes my back feel better. Standing to cook or do anything kills me
I really can't wait to have my body back and to feel normal again. This has been my hardest pregnancy for sure.
My dc have also been watching more TV than I like in the form of Noggin, PBS kids and cooking shows (they watch this with me LOL). But I hate being so dependent on the tv.
My dh has been a saint. I know we are all counting down to when the baby comes so life can resume.
Good luck hon!

I'm off work, getting 9-10 hours of sleep, and still took a 2 hour nap today. You need it, I need it. We're just at that stage

I have the motivation to do LOADS of stuff - just not the energy. So, instead I just get frustrated. I work my butt off for a while - then fall over exhausted - repeat. I need to cut myself some slack, but darn it - this stuff won't get done after Baby T gets here, so I need to get it done NOW!

Crawling off to go find a corner of the boat to take a snooze in - don't trip over me, 'kay?

I barely let dh go to work. He works part from home, part at an office (the office is just kind of a formality, he's the only one in his company in this state. nothing he can do at the office that he can't at home.. except not be distracted!) Lately I've been refusing to leave bed before, oh, 11, and yelling for him any time dd comes in and bugs me. I HAVE to get all my sleep in one good stretch though. With rare exception (like if I barely slept at all the night before), naps make me feel horrible. If I accidentally succomb to a nap while reading a book or something, I wake up sooo groggy and disoriented, and feel worse than I did pre-nap. I also have a weird taste in my mouth that doesn't go away no matter how many times I brush my teeth, use mouth wash, eat or drink anything.. its bizarre and I can't explain it. It makes no sense that napping would give me a weird taste in my mouth but when I get up in the middle of the night I don't.

I am right there with you! I don't have babies to take care of, just work animals and DH.

Take it easy!!! I got reprimanded today at the MW for pushing myself to hard. She sentenced me to the couch. Kinda like when the MW suggest to eat eat eat! Its not that the order is hard, but if you don't do it, you could be in trouble. we're so close!

I'm crunchy... Like a Dorito.

I feel like this too! There are so many things I am motivated to do, and then wind up only having the energy to start projects, or start them and get overwhelmed. Which is frustrating. I constantly feel like I'm resting *too* much, and that I should be doing all this other housework and whatnot... not to mention I have a terrible time napping during the day when my mind is constantly making lists of what I still need to do!

And sleep is so uncomfortable at night, ugh. I guess cutting myself some slack doesn't sound like such a bad thing...

~Erin~ totally in with Olivia! 5/31/09

This is so me! I have a chiro appointment today and I REALLY need to go to the big city and get some stuff for the baby and new shoes for me. I need new shoes so bad and have been putting it off. Was leaving for little league yesterday and realized that I have a big hole in the side of my canvas nike mary janes. These are the only shoes that I wear any more b/c I won't bend over to do athletic shoes and my feet are too fred flinstone looking to do sandals. So...yeah...I NEED to go, but whether or not I will? THAT is another story! I tend to be good for about a hour or two of activity and then CRASH.

OMG I am so exhausted too. It is really depressing not being able to get more than an hour or two stretch of sleep at a time.

Jam 7, Peanut Butter 5, and Bread 2.

Okay, I'm especially whiney and crabby today.
I'm coming for a virtual nap in the boat, since it's the only kind I"ll get.

Yep. That's about right.

I was going to start an "I'm so bored I could cry" thread, but this about describes it...poor DH is out running errands all day, DD is happy playing in the house (I took her out for a quick walk down the block this AM) and I cannot do anything but sit on the couch. I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow which means, I've officially been pregnant longer than I was w/ DD (induced at 38w5days for pre-e).

Bleh.

My LO hasn't dropped (and the MW said 2nd babies don't sometimes), somehow I can envision this dragging on way past my due date next Sunday. And if that meant I'd actually be able to be productive and get stuff done in the meantime, that would be awesome...but all I want to do is sleep and veg out.

So...yeah...just dragging myself to the "exhausted and LAME" category.
