I can empathize. I spent most of DS2's pregnancy alone, although I was still "with" DH. We didn't think that we would be reunited before DS2 was born, but we got lucky. I remember how sad I felt believing that it would be some time after DS2 was born before DH could see him.
I'm sorry.

I'm so sorry that your husband had to leave at all, but especially right now. I am very surprised that they would make him leave even though you are having a baby at any moment. I hope your DS is doing okay and that you have a lot of friends and family for support. I hope the rest of your labor goes smoothly and peacefully.

Thinking of you. I'll bet you're right about the malpositioning, and the chiro will really help, either by enabling the labor to complete or enabling your uterus to stop its frantic prodromal efforts to move your babe around!

I'm okay today. DH has been able to email me and we just got off the phone with each other, I'm waiting for him to get online so we can talk some more. He should be able to communicate for the next couple of days pretty easily until he changes locations.

I don't know what happened with all this prodromal nonsense. I'm still losing huge amounts of mucus plug but haven't really had anymore contractions. My pelvis is excruciatingly sore right now though. I feel like I could be pregnant forever at this point and the idea of having a baby very soon isn't registering with me anymore. You wouldn't think your mood or mental state could have so much influence over your pregnancy and that things would happen regardless but I think things are holding off because of that right now.

I'm glad you've been able to chat with your dh, thats great!

It is amazing the way we can inhibit such a huge thing without really realizing it. Our minds are pretty powerful when you think about it.

As for the labor stuff, I really think our minds have so much control over it, more than we realize. And I hear ya on the sore pelvis thing, I'm extremely sore all over my belly and pelvic area from the contractions. And it hurts so much more when babe decides to kick me or push really hard. A nice warm bath every night has been helping a bit.

I wish I could give you a hug. I wish I had more to say. I wish he could have been there after all. I hope for your own sake and sanity that baby comes soon, healthy and whole.
