hello all,

i'm in the midwest and i have two sons, age 9 and 12. we're an old-school AP family, having always been self-employed and having the boys with us at home and at work.

i write about Reggio-inspired, project-based homeschooling and nature study and journaling.

we take full advantage of the work-at-home/school-at-home lifestyle and travel and camp throughout the year in our vw van. when we're at home, we enjoy life in the country.

looking forward to good discussions!

Hi,

I am loving your website. It is really fantastic. You are doing such amazing things with those kids. I loved what you wrote about the project journal and observation. You very poetically hit the nail on the head in terms of why and how observation is such a powerful tool in education and inner growth for all involved. Love it.

I am an M. Ed with a few years of preschool teaching under my belt. I studied Reggio and had the opportunity to go to Reggio Emelia for the Study tour. I love it. My son is only 4 months old so we aren't exactly at full blown project time but you have inspired me to up my observation. I don't know what to do with him in terms of schooling later but you have me thinking........

I have boys! My first baby boy was born 10/08 and my second baby boy was born 7/12
