I have two daughters, two dogs, and a husband. While most people know me as a business running, hard working, overachiever...really I'm a dirty hippie in disguise.
From cloth diapering to homebirthing (which I haven't done yet but am planning on with the current one due 9/20/09-ish...hey, I needed a couple trial runs to make sure I knew what I was doing... LOL) to researching vax and circ like there was going to be a pop quiz in the morning, I'm doing all I can to balance my desires for my children with the whole "society" thing.
I do not EVER judge the decisions of other mothers in regard to choices they have made (or have been thrust upon them) during pregnancy or childbirth.
Actually, I still don't know who's bright idea it was to call pain-free vaginal birth "natural birth" anyway. In my mind, all birth is natural. I mean, unless a robot had little robot babies...maybe that would not be natural. You get what I mean.
I have done extensive reading on the forums, and have lurked and cried at many of the Birth Stories - both good and bad.
Thanks for letting me join you all, it's a group I'm proud to be part of and I truly hope I am able to contribute in some small way.
Mama to two preschool girls and one beautiful infant girl born 9/30!
