I have a 21 yr old daughter who has Sotos Syndrome (moderate mental and physical disabilies) and autism, and I have a 16 yr old gifted son. I'm very happy to find such a positive and thoughtful online community :)
I have twins with mild-moderate Autism and learning disabilities. I'm also a full-time step-mom to my husband's son, who is gifted. It's an interesting world, meeting those two sets of needs at the same time, isn't it?
