Hi all. I just found out that I am in my 3rd week post conception. I have been charting for a little more than 6 months and have always had a very short luteal phase. So...after passing the 10 day mark and then the 11..12..13..14..15..16...I couldn't wait anymore. I went out and got a PT and it was positive! We weren't planning to starting trying until next June or July (the babies due date is roughly 6/26, our wedding anniversary) because we are currently expats living in Beijing, China, but I guess plans change! Not sure what we are going to do yet but at this point the plan is for me to stay home, Georgia, after we fly home for Christmas. My husband will at the very least be home for the birth, but we were scheduled to be in China until next December....with a very strong monetary bonus if we make it to a full 3 years here.
Anyway, I am a huge fan of the Business of Being Born movies and since I am only 5 hours away from Summertown, Tennessee, I am really hoping to have my baby on The Farm. Sounds idealic and wonderful! Anyone have experiences there? I found out last night that (shocking) my insurance only covers the basic hospital birth with an OB so if anyone has had a baby on the Farm...what is the cost like?
This board seems very, excited to have joined!
