Hi everyone
My name is Rachel and I have two little girls, baby boy on the way! Working on a Waldorf doll and wanted a wig/hair question answered. I hve made Waldorf dolls before and have used a 1/2 hitch method for long hair onto a crochet cap.
I like that it's all loose but I don't love seeing the knots. I'm thinking about sewing strips ad tacking those to the cap/head . Most tutorials have the hair underneath sewed down to the head- maybe tO reduce bulk? I'd like the girls to be able to brush through it and fully style it.
Hope this is the right spot to post this...

Hi Rachel!  Congratulations on your pregnancy!  Your best place to post about the Waldorf doll would be in the Arts and Crafts forum.  :)
