Nice to meet you all - my name is Jayna - I'm a single mother to a 17 year old girl. I miss the toddler years when life was less complicated and I was a hero.  I discovered this forum looking for ideas for dinner - I made the pumpkin soup but didn't find a zucchini big enough to stuff so made sandwiches of avocodo, cucumber, lettuce, and gouda to go with them. I'm struggling right now to get her health care  as she was dropped from the California Medicaid program at the end of August - very hard choices these days.

Hi and Welcome to Mothering!!

It sounds like a rough time for you and your daughter. You might check out the Teens forum, and possibly the local California forum for some help with the insurance issue.

And it sounds like you found our recipes! :)  Glad you tried something. :)

Hi everyone.
I have a 7 year old girl. Starting out on the vegan / vegetarian path. Its hard when you have a family to cook for abd each have their own way of eating. Hoping to find support for healthy eating for family / holistic approach to healing

Thanks in advance
