Hello, my name is Jordan, and this is my first pregnancy. I am 27 years old and I have never had any experience with children or even other pregnant women, so I am pretty in the dark here. I also just recently moved to a new state and don't really even have friends to talk to about all these changes in my life, so if you are interested in making a new friend, especially if you are due near me on july 5th, I would greatly appreciate it!

I am due with my first kids, twins, on July 12th. Come join our due date club on the link above.

Even though I have been wanting to be pregnant for ages, all these changes are still kinda scary, and we can hold each other's hand!

Welcome! I think you'll like Mothering. I was in the same boat as you and now I feel fairly confident... my baby girl is now 10.5 weeks and very healthy smile.gif I feel like I owe that to the support I've gotten here at Mothering!

Something that's been helpful to me has been The Wonder Weeks, at least after my baby came. It's helped me crack her code smile.gif

Pre-baby, I think what helped me the most was Red Raspberry Leaf tea and meditation. I ended up requiring an emergency c-section and the meditation helped me from having a complete meltdown. Breastfeeding also medically did not work out, so meditation came into being even more handy. Therefore... the best thing I can say is take everything as it comes and keep smiling. As long as you're healthy, there is no right or wrong—there is only your unique experience.
