I'm a lactation consultant with WIC, in Sacramento, CA who is in the process of planning her first pregnancy.
I'm -terrified- because while I've done breastfeeding support work, I've never actually -done- it.
I'm hoping to find a homebirth midwife that will work with women with mental illness, and will help me to be brave about my desired natural birth.
I've been reading Mothering a long time, and love how everyone here share my ideology about raising children. I just hope my ideology lasts through the raising of our child.
Anyway, looking forward to participating here, and seeking information and courage.
